StrongMail appoints senior vice president of sales

StrongMail, a provider of interactive marketing solutions for email marketing and social media, has appointed Jason Simon as senior vice president of sales.
Jason Simon has more than 20 years of experience helping marketing organizations expand their businesses and grow their bottom lines. In his new role, Simon will be responsible for executing StrongMail's global sales strategy and managing its distributed sales force.

Simon will play a key role in accelerating the expansion of StrongMail's business by focusing on its capabilities for leveraging real-time data, automating lifecycle email marketing messages and delivering millions of personalized communications in minutes.

Simon's digital marketing expertise spans more than a decade, most recently as SVP of sales and sales business operations at ClickEquations. Previously, as vice president of sales at Bigfoot Interactive, Simon helped lead the company to a $120 million acquisition by Epsilon, and subsequently transitioned into the role of vice president of sales and channel for the Epsilon Interactive Services Group. Simon's sales and management expertise also spans executive positions at Datran's Stormpost business unit, Zeta Interactive and DoubleClick.
