New DeSerres Arts and Crafts Retail Store now open in Richmond Hill
RICHMOND HILL, ON, Dec. 6, 2012, 2012 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --
The Canadian century-old
arts and crafts retail chain DeSerres opened a new store its 30th in
Canada and 7th in Ontario in Richmond Hill in November and is
celebrating today its official grand opening. The store features a
refreshing and innovative design concept, providing a unique shopping
experience that will inspire creativity. This more than $1.3 million
investment by DeSerres will create some 20 jobs in the local community.
This new store opening is part of the company's expansion plan in order
to build a network of some 40 stores within the next few years. The new
DeSerres store is located at 9325 Yonge Street, on the corner of 16(th) Avenue, in Richmond Hill.
The store's inspiring new design concept laid out on a surface of 8,000
square feet showcases DeSerres' wide range of products in order to
satisfy everyone's innate need to express their creativity. Richmond
Hill's rapid expansion and the dynamic qualities of its population made
it an ideal location for a new DeSerres store with contemporary flair.
A special celebration to mark the grand opening for the general public
will take place starting today until Sunday, December 9.
