CyberAlert Offers Free Media Monitoring Service to Not-for-Profit Organizations

Stratford, CT, Dec 10, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- CyberAlert, Inc., the worldwide media monitoring service, will give away media monitoring services to not-for-profit organizations for 2013.

Each media monitoring grant consists of one full year of free news monitoring, broadcast monitoring and/or social media monitoring service, ranging in value from $3,000 for national news monitoring to $6,000 for worldwide news and social media monitoring. CyberAlert will award a minimum of 15 media monitoring grants.

CyberAlert is accepting grant applications until December 31 and will announce the grant recipients in January. More information and a simple and secure grant application is available online at https://secure.cyberalert.com/grantsX.html.

Between 2004 and 2012, CyberAlert (http://www.cyberalert.com) has awarded 164 media monitoring and PR grants to not-for-profit organizations with an aggregate value of over $435,000. Among the 18 PR grant recipients for 2012 were Alliance for Children & Families, Identity Theft Council, Institute of Heart Math, Keep a Breast Foundation (Canada), Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, National Relief Charities, Pro Majeur, Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities, and Street Football World (Germany).

Previous grant recipients have included InterAction, National Research Center for Women and Families, Mercy Ships, Society for Public Health Education, National Wildlife Federation, Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE), Texas Organ Sharing Alliance, United Nation's University, Environmental Law and Policy Center, Children's Wish Foundation (Canada), St. Baldrick's Foundation, CancerCare, and Military Spouses for Change.

In past years, the PR grants were restricted to organizations in the United States and Canada. This year all not-for-profit organizations worldwide are eligible to apply for a grant, except for previous grant recipients.
