Keep the web free and for all

Feb 11, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- World wide web inventor Tim Berners-Lee regrets that the internet is used primarily to make money. In his view, it should be a platform for the free exchange of information. He said at a conference in Australia that the internet's full potential is yet to be realised. Berners-Lee is particularly enthusiastic about the role of the internet in stimulating scientific progress through co-operation between scientists.
