Concert Hands: Piano Challenge App Taps Next Generation Haptic Technology From Rubato Productions

Feb 20, 2013 (EWORLDWIRE via Comtex) -- Concert Hands - the newest Piano Challenge App from Rubato Productions Inc. - partners would be musicians with an innovative piano playing robotic assistant and gaming app utilizing virtual robotic hands. Virtual piano keys feature gaming and learning patented technologies, building finger control that develops real piano playing skills.

The initial success of the Piano Challenge App has lead to talks with executives at Fox Rothschild LLP. Major music stars such as Alicia Keys, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and many other music stars are being considered for the Piano Challenge App music library.

Piano Challenge is based on the first generation product, Concert Hands, a product that incorporates Haptic Musical Instrument Technology with an easy-to-use software program, giving learners the most exciting piano playing experience possible.

With Piano Challenge, users select a song in either Rehearsal Mode or Performance Mode and see how falling colored spheres teach proper timing as they intersect with the Activity Line. Then exploding colored spheres and finger pads light up to let musicians know they're playing a song correctly. As one plays, robotic hands on the virtual piano provide proper visuals to reinforce the learning process.

The patent pending Looping and Tempo adjusting can also be applied to each song to make playing even easier. Looping frees up one's attention to focus on playing a small or large section of a song, while Tempo adjustment controls speed of playing, down to a snail's pace for rapid learning.

Scoring becomes active when the looping feature is closed, and the full song is playing. Current scoring is displayed on the face of the app at all times. At the end of a round, users' stats for timing, accuracy and proper fingering are displayed.

Players can choose from a library of 11 songs that come with the app to get them started. A full range of popular song styles will be available as In-App purchases through the iTunes app store. The goal of Piano Challenge is to have fun playing, learning, gaming and challenging everyone to learn to play their favorite songs.

The first release of the Piano Challenge App is currently available for purchase through the iTunes App store for an introductory price of $.99 at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/piano-challenge-app/id552919085 mt=8 Also included is the Piracy Secure Digital Music feature that allows any music artist to safely distribute their music through the Piano Challenge App.
