Educators, students, and parents pass 10 billion messages on the Remind platform
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Remind, a K-12 communication platform, announced today that more than 10 billion messages have been delivered to students, parents, and educators.
"When we reached our first billion messages in 2014, we couldn't even imagine hitting a milestone like this," said co-founder Brett Kopf. "It's a testament to how committed educators are—Remind delivers the messages, but they're the ones reaching out to their students and parents to build relationships."
With the 2017–2018 school year under way, more than 1.9 illion teachers—over half of all full-time teachers in the United States—now use Remind every month to communicate with students and parents through class announcements, group conversations, and individual messages. To date, nearly 1 billion messages have been delivered with images, documents, and other resources.
Remind is already used in more than 90 percent of U.S. public school districts, and the company recently introduced a school and district product to help administrators improve engagement for their entire communities. "We launched School and District Plans to give administrators more tools to encourage meaningful classroom communication," said CEO Brian Grey. "Looking ahead, we're excited to build on this foundation by streamlining school and district communication as well. This kind of whole-school engagement creates more opportunities for students to succeed, and we're looking forward to our next 10 billion messages."
