A new set of interactive marketing platforms have been announced by International Data Corporation or IDC (News - Alert). These platforms have been optimized for the latest mobile devices, operating systems and displays. Clients and users are provided with richer formats, enhanced functionality, and cross-platform compatibility as these platforms are based on HTML5. IDC’s Go-to-Market Services or GMS (News - Alert) are developing and offering these multimedia platforms.
In a release, Christopher Picanso, VP of GMS Engagement at IDC said, “Marketers are approaching mobile platforms as an integral element of their overall marketing strategy. With several new multimedia offerings and delivery options, we hope to showcase the mobile device compatibility and flexibility of IDC's marketing programs.”
Marketing programs are offered by IDC’s GMS at all levels. IDC's industry-defining research and brand are leveraged by these marketing programs. GMS can provide a range of multimedia offerings in addition to custom content and events. These include audio and video podcasts, Webcasts, and other mixed media tools. A global migration from a PC-centric environment to a dual environment, PC and mobile has been reflected by the transition of these core multimedia assets to HTML5.
A next-generation interactive online tool was recently developed by IDC. Line of Business professionals can better understand the use of CRM in contact centers with this tool. This will enable future growth for the professionals.
Picanso said, “Evolving from an earlier tool set developed by SAP (News - Alert) in 2008, this innovative and enveloping CRM experience allows users to access dynamic scenarios from any location and any device, including PCs, smartphones, and tablets.”
According to Picanso, the tool has been developed in HTML5. SAP users will find the next generation of usability beneficial. The impact CRM has on all levels of the business cycle interaction can be also better understood.
