Mobile Apps, Consistent UI Development, Gaming In Focus at Leading HTML5 Conference in Santa Clara, California April 25-26, 2012.

Norwalk, CT, April 9, 2012—TMC and Crossfire Media today announced that Kiran Prasad, director of Engineering, Mobile for LinkedIn (News - Alert), will deliver a special keynote address at the DevCon5 – HTML5 Mobile App and Developers Conference this month in Santa Clara, California. DevCon5 takes place April 25-26, 2012 at the Network Meeting Center in Santa Clara, California. Prasad’s address is scheduled for Thursday, April 26th.

Admission to Prasad’s presentation, as well as all other keynote and breakout sessions, is included with any DevCon5 registration plan.

In his speech titled, “Change Setting Sites on the Cloud. HTML5 Lessons from Linkedin using Node.js,” Prasad will explain and demonstrate how moving to Node.js advanced not only LinkedIn’s mobile application look and feel, but also improved the performance of the application.

DevCon5 was created for web developers, software architects, graphic artists and business executives seeking a deeper understanding of the power of HTML5. The DevCon5 conference program encompasses a multi-track program covering important topics related to HTML5 adoption, including: browser compatibility, user experience design and Web 3.0.

“Kiran Prasad’s presentation at the most recent DevCon5 was universally acclaimed by attendees as one of the most useful lessons at the conference. Kiran combines high-level theory with detailed demonstrations of code structures that give a complete picture of how node.js helps developers deliver a consistently pleasant user experience – whether on a pc, tablet, or mobile device,” explained Carl Ford, a founder of DevCon5.

“DevCon5 brings together the brightest minds – both at the podium and in the audience – creating an incredibly productive and enriching two-day summit. All involved will develop and augment skill sets required to create ground-breaking mobile apps and consistent user experiences with HTML5,” added Ford.

In addition to Prasad, leading HTML5 developers and best-selling authors highlight the DevCon5 conference program:
