On is first anniversary, Claro (News - Alert), the HTML5 compliant eLearning authoring tool, receives the latest enhancement, its eighth.
dominKnow is a respected name in the realm of eLearning and mLearning software. The company’s flagship product, Claro, is a web-based, collaborative authoring platform designed for creating, managing, and delivering high-impact learning.
Since its debut last spring, Claro has quickly evolved into an industry leader in HTML5 content authoring. dominKnow has named the latest version, ‘rEvolution’.
“We call it small rEvolution. What makes Claro unique is our ability to rapidly introduce new features and quickly respond to customer requests. And because Claro is cloud-based, users always have the best, most up-to-date content authoring platform at their fingertips,” dominKnow CEO, Luke Hickey said in a press release.
After eight updates, Claro in its rEvolution version is capable of creating animations and narrations auto play on a page and much more.
Being fully HTML5 compliant, the contents created in Claro can play seamlessly on desktop, tablet and smartphone devices, dominKnow explained.
In its latest version, Claro comes with such features as actions and animations, page transitions, media syncing and undo/redo. With rEvolution, the users get improved scheduling capability for desktop meetings and iImproved pPlayer experience. The new HTML widgets allow the authors to insert HTML pages as reusable contents directly into any page. The updated version of Claro also allows the authors to quickly add design borders and effects.
“I love the new features that dominKnow has brought to Claro these past few months. I appreciate, as well, how dominKnow ask their customers what they need and want and then listen to them. Such a wonderful experience!” technical training and development specialist at WildBlue, Karen Mallette noted in a statement.
Claro’s availability was formally announced by dominKnow in April last year. To celebrate the arrival of Claro, dominKnow offered an unprecedented free, one-year subscription of Claro to every Learning Solutions 2011 conference attendee.
