Voice expert Acapela Group (News – Alert) has announced its first HTML5 talking demo on Google (News
– Alert) Chrome, a free Web browser that is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers
Users can discover and enjoy Acapela super hero via a click, what the speech synthesis can bring to applications with a few lines of code, to easily speech animate content in 30 languages, said company officials.
This straightforward demo shows Acapela Group’s commitment towards the developer communities. Company officials said that the company is committed to offering developers efficient and powerful tools and speech solutions to help them take the floor successfully.
The HTML5 demo uses Acapela VaaS solution, a cloud computing solution developed to give the say to any application online. Company officials said that users should have Google Chrome11 on their systems if they want to use Acapela’s HTML5 talking demo.
Acapela Group invents text to speech solutions to give content a voice in up to 30 languages and helps its customers to build their “Voice strategy,” to add audible value to their services and applications through the spoken word.
Last month, the company designed a specific Software Development Toolkit with Acapela TTS for Android (News – Alert) that enables the Android devices to speak volumes. With the help of the easy to use and intuitive Java API, there are already 25 languages and 51 pleasant voices ready to give the say to Android apps through a few lines of codes.
Also in May, Acapela Group announced that in partnership with UniMRCP, an open source MRCP project, the company is going to release Acapela MRCP add-on 2.000, an extension of Acapela Text-to-Speech, or “TTS,” for Windows and Linux servers, which offers a greater choice of high-end speech solutions using MRCPv2 to the users.
