The next major release of Kendo UI Complete for professional software developers was recently announced by Telerik. The latest offering from Telerik will come as a package of web, DataViz (News – Alert), and Mobile tools and will assist software developers who work on the front-end development of mobile apps and sites with JavaScript and HTML5.
In a release, Todd Anglin, vice president of HTML5 Web and Mobile Tools, said that, “With this major release of Kendo UI we are taking a huge step towards simplifying mobile app development with HTML and JavaScript. We have officially introduced Kendo UI Mobile, which provides mobile UI widgets that automatically adapt to the native look-and-feel of iOS, Android, and BlackBerry (News
– Alert) devices. It’s the fastest way to build a mobile app that can reach the biggest audience.”
Enhancing the popular jQuery JavaScript library, Telerik’s Kendo UI which has been based on CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript web standards will continue to provide broad support for all leading browsers which include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, as well as iOS and Android (News – Alert) based mobile browsers.
The official Q1 2012 release of Kendo UI will feature the Kendo UI Web which includes a variety of rich HTML5 JavaScript UI widgets, a Grid, and essential framework components such as a robust Data Source (News – Alert), drag-and-drop functionality which is touch-enabled, validation as well as globalization among other capabilities.
The second tool is the Kendo UI DataViz which is a suite of HTML5-driven data visualization widgets, and features animated charts and comes with the latest release, gauges. The third tool which is the Kendo UI Mobile features a rich application framework and comes with HTML5 JavaScript UI widgets which specifically address issues pertaining to the creation of mobile apps via HTML5.
In other news, Telerik recently revealed the latest release for Sitefinity, its award-winning Content Management System (CMS). In Sitefinity 4.4, customers will find a fully integrated Module Builder, enabling website administrators to rapidly create new content-types using a web-based UI.
Another highlight of the release is the site synchronization feature, which facilitates synchronization of data across multiple sites and environments. Sitefinity 4.4 accelerates the website development and content creation processes, boosting overall productivity and minimizing costs.
