Now sending e-cards will be more fun. Progressive Media Group Inc., providing premium corporate holiday e-cards to business and organizations since 2003, is planning to add more interactive and dynamic components based on HTML5 to their existing product offering for corporate holiday e-cards.
Due to advances in the technology over the last few years, e-card shoppers are now demanding for more animated e-cards that are powered by technologies like HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3.
“We have been aggressive in our experimentation with HTML5 and its core dependencies for creating e-card animations”, said Derek De Giovanni, director of Progressive Media Group Inc. “Overtime, the majority of animations we’ve seen on the Web using HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 keep progressing at an encouraging pace. We don’t anticipate the animation quality and authoring tools available to match other technologies, like Adobe (News – Alert) Flash, just yet, but are extremely excited to see continued advancements.”
Progressive Media Group Inc.’s e-cards are known for their high-quality animations and allow customers to customize the look and feel of the e-card by using their own logo; corporate colors; special message; Web and social links; staff photos; signatures etc. Their e-cards are used many corporate houses Due to their clean style and creative animations, their e-cards are used by many corporate houses to for sending complements to their employees and partners. Company is hoping to repeat same qualities with their HTML5 e-card offerings as well.
According to a press release, besides the HTML5 e-cards, company has also indicated their plans to develop a ‘do-it-yourself’ platform that they planning to launch this fall. In the initial offering, with this platform corporate will be able to send e-cards to under 500 recipients group as the majority of Progressive Media Group Inc. clients currently send to 500 or more recipients. More details of this platform are expected to be out by this Spring/Summer.
