Freshly energized by some fresh capital it received in May, bMobilized has announced that it released a new DIY web-to-mobile service. The New York based company’s specialty is actually coming up with tools that make it easier for companies to convert their websites to mobile applications. This new kind of tool utilizes HTML5 capabilities, making the conversion easier to be viewed on any operating system, browser, or mobile device. HTML5 has the kind of programming language that makes anything written in it almost universally recognized.
Now that bMobilized has gotten the capital it needed, it can help small and medium sized businesses get its websites almost automatically changed in order to be viewed on almost any platform. The best part of this new tool is that the conversion is also quite customizable, so that the companies can shape its mobile sites to their liking.
bMobilized’s Automatic Content Identification (ACI) boasts 300 proprietary algorithms that allow the software to capture all of a particular website’s editorial, sales and marketing assets. In about 30 seconds, the entire website is then converted into a mobile version that is similar to the company’s full version with the addition of menus, headers, footers and social tools. Perhaps even better is that this tool allows for automatic syncing between the two versions. This means that instead of having to write code for both versions, companies simply need to change the full version and the mobile site will update as well.
"We have spent more than two years developing our state-of-the-art mobile conversion technology, and are pleased by both its ease of use and ability to scale to meet users’ specific requirements," bMobilized CEO, Ben Seslija said in a recent press release. "The nine in ten small businesses that still do not have optimized mobile sites because of technical or financial restraints now have the means to build their own professional-looking, brand-identical mobile site to engage their increasingly mobile customers."
