appMobi Unveils storeView for HTML5 and PhoneGap Developers

appMobi (NewsAlert) has unveiled a cloud-based reporting service, storeView. Available for no extra cost, storeView will allow PhoneGap and hybrid HTML5 app developers to collect and display all the comprehensive app analytics across all the most well-liked app stores in one dashboard.

An increasing number of developers are developing apps which are compatible across several platforms. These apps are now available at several app stores, where a unique method is used by the app stores to account sales and activity, thereby developing huge fragmentation. Developers are therefore not able to appreciate the app performance. They are also not able to capitalize on the trends for accomplishing maximum profitability. appMobi’s storeView helps PhoneGap and HTML5 hybrid app developers to resolve these specific problems for no extra cost.

In a release, Sam Abadir, CTO of appMobi said, "As game and app developers have begun to leverage HTML5’s ‘write once, deploy everywhere’ power, the issue of app store fragmentation has emerged as these apps have become successful across multiple stores and platforms. We experienced this issue ourselves with Boom Town, the first massively cross platform HTML5 game, currently available in seven different app stores. We also realized just how little information is provided by many of the app stores. For example, the only analytic provided by Apple’s App Store and Google (News Alert) Play is download count – that’s all they can tell you about your app! We created storeView for internal use and found it to be an invaluable tool. Now we’re giving it away for anyone who’s using HTML5 to create apps."

The cloud-based service, storeView will always be available for free, with no hidden expenses for creating an account or including more apps to the system. The system does not have any restrictions on the number of users for any app. Any HTML5-based app can include storeView analytics in a very simplified manner. The app only needs to incorporate one include files and a single line of Java Script code.

The performance and activity of developers’ apps in most of the major app stores, like Apple, Android Google Play, Facebook (NewsAlert), Amazon, Chrome, Mozilla and Barnes & Noble can be analyzed by storeView.
