Mavenlink Launches New Mobile Application Based on HTML5

Mavenlink users can now easily collaborate, manage tasks, view files and track time and expenses – all from their iOS, Android (NewsAlert), Windows Phone and other smartphones. This has become possible with the new mobile application launched by Mavenlink, a renowned online work and project management solution.

Mavenlink’s new mobile platform is based on mobile HTML5 and offers a complete business delivery platform that enables companies to manage work online from their smartphones.

Mavenlink has taken an HTML5 approach as it looks to accelerate adoption and enhancing the user experience. The Mavenlink mobile application allows users to create, assign, view and manage tasks, deliverables and milestones via any mobile device. Users can also track all billable hours easily as tasks and deliverables are completed in the field.

“With the mobile workforce growing at an increasingly rapid pace, it has become clear that businesses require a centralized platform to collaborate freely from any location at any time,” said Ray Grainger, CEO at Mavenlink. “As one of the most popular work management solutions on the market, Mavenlink remains committed to providing the best online project and collaboration solution for service providers and companies of all sizes. The availability of our new, mobile application dramatically enhances our customers’ ability to conduct business in a secure, collaborative online workplace.”

Strategy Analytics (NewsAlert) has predicted in its Wireless Device Strategies report, “Global HTML5 Handset Sales Forecast,” that sales of HTML5 compatible phones will hit one billion in 2013.

“Businesses seeking to promote innovation by encouraging individuals and teams to collaborate need to make it easy,” said Mark Levitt, Director of Enterprise Software and Communications, Strategy Analytics. “With mobile applications from vendors such as Mavenlink, workers in any location can access and share project information and tasks in centralized, online collaborative workplaces.”

Mavenlink was recently in the news when it unveiled two new features to its work management suite aimed at improving the way we work. With this, businesses of all sizes will have free unlimited access to the mavenlink.com workplace which unleashes the power of today’s workforce.

The company also announced Go-Pro, a premium version of the suite that will provide a complete solution for invoicing, time and expense tracking, and accounting through an integration with Intuit (NewsAlert) QuickBooks, enabling managers to focus more on projects and less on administrative busy work.
