CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) will be hosting its annual convention in Indianapolis, IN on September 5 – 8 and BlueVolt will have a booth featuring its new product and how it works with iPhones, iPads and Android (News – Alert) operating systems. A pioneer in Learning Management Systems (LMS), BlueVolt will allow conventioneers to be able to learn more about its new HTML5 mobile interface system.
Visitors will be able to test the new system through a series of quizzes, videos and interactive courses that are available to the iOS and Android systems, along with sampling the ease-of-use of the navigation within the system and the functionality of the system. "Our new mobile functionality is a tremendous asset to professional integrators as well as manufacturers and service providers who utilize our Learning Management System," said Sharon Dunigan, BlueVolt national account manager.
CEDIA is shaping up to offer conventioneers promising workshops and booths, as more and more companies announce their plans for the convention. Wi-Ex is offering a training course called “Cellular Enhancement Solutions for Residential and Commercial Applications,” and author Gail Kasper will be delivering the keynote speech at the Women in CE event, and there are already rumors about the Sony 4K TV.
The Consumer Electronics Association has announced that they will be hosting four free workshops for people in the consumer electronics industry to exchange ideas and discuss solutions. The topics of the “Great Ideas Workshops” will be “The Independent—From Surviving to Thriving,” moderated by the executive director of the North American Retail Dealers Association, Otto Papasadero, and “Financial Forecasting—Empowerment for Your Business… It’s as Easy as Connecting the Dots,” moderated by the co-founders of the Retail Owners Institute, Pat Johnson and Dick Outcalt.
Any of the professionals who are planning on making the journey to Indianapolis next week will, undoubtedly, be offered many exciting opportunities.
