The Kiwibox.com Network recently introduced the newly updated version of the Kiwibox and KWICK! iPhone (News – Alert) applications, featuring its event platform and the ability to attend events. By enhancing the Kiwibox and KWICK! iPhone apps, Kiwibox.com has delivered Web-based connectivity to the Kiwibox.com and KWICK! event pages.
The Kiwibox.com Network is a social community network based in NYC, and has been in operation for over a decade. Kiwibox.com has been a pioneer behind driving social media among its members.
With the introduction of the updated iPhone app and HTML5 version, the company has once again consolidated its popularity as a premier social community network.
Kiwibox has made the mobile HTML 5 version of its full-featured website available under the "m.kiwibox.com" and "m.kwick.de URLs to drive mobile activity among its members. The newly introduced mobile browser version has been designed to work with all mobile devices irrespective of the app function.
This move will also help in driving future mobile app development initiatives of Kiwibox.
As opposed to other platforms currently available in the market, Kiwibox and KWICK! incorporate a "geo-targeting" system, built into the application. This provides users with alerts about near-by events, which is coordinated with their location through the advanced push notification technology.
By providing users with these notifications, Kiwibox makes it easy for users of both social networks to attend locale events and network with present and prospective friends and contacts. Inclusion of mobile activity within Kiwibox.com and KWICK’s event based social networking will allow on-the-go members to quickly and easily view upcoming events and notify and connect with their friends while attending.
Users will also be able to view the photo galleries compiled from the Kiwibox and KWICK! events and continue to stay connected.
