There’s a big pot for casino games that play on mobile and tablet devices.
When deciding how to make its award-winning casino games available to iPad and iPhone (News – Alert) customers, however, casino games company Amaya Interactive didn’t want to make a long bet.
So the company went with mini and mobile games developer Zukido, which has produced games for Bet365, Betfred, Betsafe, Blue Square, Boylesports, Mybet, Stan James and Victor Chandler.
The two firms recently announced a partnership to produce HTML5 games for mobile devices and tablets.
The deal has the companies collaborating on two games at first, one of which is Millionaires Club 2. Millionaire’s Club 2 promises to offer the industry’s biggest jackpot on an HTML5 game, according to a statement from the companies.
The new deal is initially set for two games including Millionaires Club, which will feature the industry’s biggest jackpot on an HTML5 game, according to the statement.
“Amaya is committed to having the industry’s best mobile content, so we’re very happy to be working with Zukido on this project,” said Amaya Interactive spokesman, Joe Coughlin. “Not only do they have great mobile development skills, they also have intrinsic knowledge of the OpenBet platform. We are looking forward to the games rolling out in the near future.”
Additionally, Zukido will serve as an integration partner on the rollout of games to other industry leading platforms, according to the statement.
Zukido offers end-to-end consulting services, as well as a range of hosted and self-hosted casino game solutions, according to the company. It also offers design and development services that give clients plug-and-play casino products.
HTML5 will be the focus with the Amaya partnership, but Zukido also develops Flash-based games including blackjack, roulette, slots and social games, according to the company.
The new games with Amaya will initially be rolled out to OpenBet customers, according to the companies. It then will be rolled out to the Amaya Interactive AGS platform.
Zukido’s commercial director is excited about the partnership and what the two companies can do together.
“In the growing mobile slots industry, time to market is key and Zukido are perfectly positioned to help Amaya Interactive convert their offering to mobile and tablet,” said Zukido’s commercial director David Sargeant in a statement.
He added, “Amaya Interactive have great content, and Zukido are very proud to be helping them get these games to market.”
The two companies will be demoing their games at the 11th European iGaming Congress and Expo in Barcelona from October 16-18, 2012.
