mBlox Announces Availability of New Developer Program for Web and Mobile Developers

mBlox (NewsAlert) recently announced that mobile and Web developers will now be able to access its new mBlox Developer Program at developer.mblox.com. The new program, which has been designed with mobile engagement APIs, web-based dashboard, and pay as you go pricing model, provides Web and mobile developers with easy and affordable options for incorporating mobile engagement APIs within their mobile applications.

In a statement, Puneet Goel, senior product marketing manager, mBlox, said that, “Most apps don’t get used much after the initial install, and in order to generate recurring revenue from apps, developers need to focus on active users, and re-engaging them in the application experience. Push notifications are a great way to do this, but the native push services provided by mobile OS platforms don’t include any targeting capabilities and don’t transmit rich content. Developers can now use our APIs to send targeted, relevant messages, including images and HTML, to application users on Android (NewsAlert) and iOS to keep them active for months. All kinds of applications will benefit from the services including social, shopping, finance, health, news, productivity, and gaming.”

Application developers joining the new Developer Program will now benefit from quick access to mBlox APIs. The program will also enable them to send highly-targeted and relevant messages thereby giving both the level of engagement and activity a substantial boost. Developers can also deliver rich messages featuring images and html, or opt to deliver simple text-only messages over Android and iOS devices, and or on feature phones.

To ensure greater benefits to developers, the new web-based dashboard included in the new program will provide users with easy options to leverage the mBlox Developer Program. Using the Engagement Manager users will be able to create and deliver both basic and rich messages, view results featuring real-time analytics, all from the comfort of their Web browser. Users will also be able to respond to analytics to enhance their messaging programs while also enhancing their level of engagement. The Engagement Manager is available for use on desktops and tablets.

With a basic per-message price option which does not include any monthly or hidden fees, the mBlox Developer Program has been designed to be an affordable solution for using mBlox services by application developers. Furthermore, new users are provided with free credit of up to 30,000 push messages which will allow them to sample the easy-to-use aspect of the platform and also the ease with which new and powerful features can be added to their new or existing applications.
