Eyepartner Releases New Version of TikiLIVE Monster Encoder for HTML5

Eyepartner has said that it’s releasing its newest version of the TikiLIVE Monster Encoder for HTML5.

The Monster Encoder is easy to use and converts all popular formats, according to Tim Green, chief technology officer at Eyepartner, adding that now that the Monster Encoder can be used with HTML5, it’s more flexible than ever before.

TikiLIVE Monster Encoder is a turnkey application that integrates seamlessly into a network and converts all popular video types, including AVI, MOV, WMV and more, into other formats that can be easily streamed on websites.

Since users can convert video files such as iPod and iPhone (NewsAlert) files into MP4 or Flash (FLV) format, they can publish them as videos on demand (VoD) and in channel manager – pseudo-live – playlists.

Moreover, users have the ability to transcode into different qualities. They can also select the output video’s resolution, aspect ratio, bitrate and frame rate, said company officials.

Additionally, thanks to the TikiLIVE Monster Encoder for HTML5, broadcasters can transcoder videos for all popular HTML5 formats as well as transcode "long play" movies or clips at the touch of a button.

In addition to double-pass encoding ensuring a high quality of the finished video, the TikiLIVE Monster Encoder for HTML5 also features conversion between common formats, or other formats upon request – no limitation on file size or video files that can be transcoded, the ability to transfix the logo directly onto the video during encoding, and more.

The Monster Encoder can be customized immensely to fit a user’s needs. It has the ability to add Digital Rights Management (DRM) or a logo to the content, and all transcoding occurs at Eyepartner’s server farm so the process does not use any of the user’s technological resources.

Eyepartner is a software development and hosting company that deploys and hosts rich media enterprise broadcasting software, while providing first-class hosting to its clients. The company’s solutions focus on delivering high-quality video, including both live streaming video and video on-demand (VOD).

Earlier in September, Eyepartner unveiled an enhanced Roku set-top box tool set, which consists of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News Alert)) module for its TikiLIVE platform.
