Today, the technology world got its holiday present a couple of weeks early with the information from Embarcadero Technologies being released that reveals John "JT" Thomas, director of Product Management, will be speaking at two separate panels at this year’s DevCon5 conference. Scheduled to take place beginning today and lasting until November 29, the not-to-miss event brings together thought leaders from all over the world who want to share their views, as well as discuss the current functions of and where HTML5 technology is headed in the not so distant future.
The first panel discussion Thomas will be attending is titled, “HTML5-to-Hybrid-to-Native" and will highlight the rapidly growing trend of mobility. It will assist businesses in truly comprehending how to power key Web content to mobile devices, a subject Thomas boasts a ton of expertise in. This will be taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 2:45 p.m. PT in room D-11 of the South San Francisco Conference Center.
John Thomas has over 15 years of product management and product development experience including real life experience with the early versions of Delphi and C++Builder at Borland Software. Thomas has held pivotal roles held at both mobile Linux vendor MontaVista (News – Alert) Software and Research in Motion. He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his MBA and MSE from San Jose State University.
In the other session coined, "The Resurgence of C++ for Mobile App Development" occurring on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 10:45 a.m. in room D-18 at the South San Francisco Conference Center, developers will be presented by JT with a bird’s eye view into how C++, a core application language, is continuing to be leveraged today and in turn what this means to developers nowadays.
Creators of applications and solutions for anything related to the Internet as well as enterprise executives, designers and IT teams are strongly encouraged take place in this conference.
“DevCon5 will focus on what you need to know, whether it’s UI design, back-end development, building HTML5 business models or security, providing you with the information you need to implement and succeed at HTML5,” according to the company officials.
