ServiceMax Now Offers HTML5-Based Support

Recently, ServiceMax announced the latest release of ServiceMax, Winter ’13, which now offers HTML5-based to support all mobile devices and platforms.

ServiceMax provides ServiceMax Mobile to field technicians, service managers and executives to give them access to ServiceMax from virtually any device anytime, anywhere.

Field service technicians can’t be tied to an office – or even a network. They often need to have important service information and customer data at their fingertips, no matter where or when.

ServiceMax has also announced the industry’s first-ever complete Service Contracts & Billing solution. This solution will enable users to simply create and manage unlimited numbers of specific service offerings to the users. This will help users in enhancing service revenue, better serve their customers, and assemble customer payments more quickly than ever before.

“ServiceMax continues to innovate with three main areas of focus: leveraging the latest technology, while building on the most efficient platform, and introducing the most relevant and impactful functionality for field service organizations," said Athani Krishna, cofounder and VP of product management at ServiceMax. "With our introduction of HTML5 and the expansion of our contract management capabilities, Winter ’13 has touched on all three of these goals by addressing critical needs in our market: mobile device flexibility and driving service revenue.”

Recently, looking to fuel the company’s quick growth and geographic expansion, the company announced a $27-million series D investment led by Crosslink Capital. To handle everything from contract entitlements to scheduling and workforce optimization, to inventory and parts logistics and real-time customer and partner portal access, companies make use of the ServiceMax suite.

ServiceMax assists users in managing the entire field service management process, including contracts, parts, scheduling, customer and partner portals, and more.
