Wix.com, an HTML5 Web publishing platform, has announced that its website builder is now available in Japanese.
An advanced HTML5 website builder, hundreds of customizable templates and code free, user-friendly interface, Wix is the website building platform of choice for over 27 million users worldwide. The company currently supports eight different languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Polish, Russian, Italian and English.
The introduction of Japanese in the program will help Japanese users to design and publish their own Wix HTML5 website through the drag-and-drop builder. The company also provides customizing layouts and advanced Web design elements, as well as addition pages and publishing tools directed though Japanese prompts.
To make it more convenient for Japanese users, the company has hired and trained Japanese Support specialists who will offer users 24/7 online and e-mail support to help them address any questions they may have when using Wix.
"This is the perfect way to begin a new year, and a whole new direction for the Wix Community. Japan is an intriguing market, characterized by technological innovation and a mass of early adopters who understand the power of the web and the huge potential it has to boost their businesses," said Avishai Abrahami, Wix founder and CEO. "By offering our advanced technology and user friendly interface in their native language, we’re removing the language barrier preventing many from creating a professional web presence for their businesses, products and services."
Last month, the company entered in Wix App Market that enables the integration of third-party applications to the Wix website builder, allowing app developers to create and market Web apps to Wix’s previously untapped user base.
Wix even invites companies and developers to create unique and inventive apps that if added to the App Market, will grant them massive exposure and business growth.
