Many users today spend more than one million hours playing online games. Realizing this, MocoSpace, the premier gaming destination on the mobile Internet with over 30 million registered users, has recently launched a dozen new games from several publishers around the world.
The publishers, including New Game Town, Photon Storm, Alley Labs, Softgames, Solitude Games and TreSensa, have introduced three new titles: Crazy Frog, Strandead and Cupcakes Vs. Veggies.
Company officials confirmed that the new catalog of HTML5 mobile games run on MocoSpace’s platform.
"MocoSpace provides us with a terrific platform with monetization, leaderboards, and most importantly a large social graph for us to tap into. The platform is one of the best ways to make our HTML5 games available to gamers," said Vincent Obermeier, president of TreSensa, in a statement.
Millions of members are playing games every month across the iPhone, Android (News – Alert), iPad and Android tablets. "A growing number of consumers and developers are taking advantage of mobile browsers to expand their game and entertainment options," said Jamie Hall, CTO of MocoSpace.
Launched in 2005, MocoSpace is the mobile community of choice for playing games, making friends, having fun and staying connected. The firm is based in Boston, Mass., and is backed by General Catalyst and Softbank Capital.
The games are available at the company’s website or by downloading MocoSpace’s iPhone (News – Alert), iPad, and Android applications.
