VirtualViewer AJAX, a universal document and image-viewing solution from Snowbound Software, is now available with new text searching capabilities that helps users to access critical information from any device or platform, including smartphones and tablets, in a more productive and efficient way.

Snowbound has responded to its customers’ request by introducing the new text searching feature for its Web-based HTML5 document viewer that requires no client installation or download. Users can now search documents from any device with a Web browser.

This is the kind of proficiency that users demand to instantaneously locate key information for text-based documents such as Microsoft (News – Alert) Office, PDF, AFP, and PCL.

Users can start using the text searching feature by simply entering a query into the simple search field; the thumbnail panel fills with the pages from the document that match the case-sensitive search parameters. Later on, users can browse through the highlighted results with front and back buttons to find the desired information.

In addition, users can configure the VirtualViewer’s search feature as per their needs along with the access to API samples that help them to select features and buttons they want to display.

VirtualViewer AJAX is currently available for both Java and .NET (News – Alert) (x32 or x64) and can be configured with any standard browser, offering on-the-go mobile document viewing, and delivers flexible cross-platform support.
