STARLIMS Version 11 Touts HTML5 Compatibility

The HTML5 programming language is making a name for itself in a huge amount of different platforms these days. The latest tech to adopt that functionality is the Version 11 LIMS software through STARLIMS. This newest version has expanded its functionality so that it will be usable on mobile device applications and will have that always important HTML5 compatibility.

HTML5 has become an important programming language for any company that wants to have a solution that will be workable through multiple formats. Some companies have dug their heels in on the tech, because there have been problems reported but most come around eventually. The latest sign of this kind of turnaround is the addition of more HTML5 compatibility in the latest Firefox Web browser.

STARLIMS can benefit greatly from adding HTML5 because they will be able to service more laboratories on a larger number of different devices. By going with a Web-based interface, clients can connect to their specialized site through their smartphones or tablets. This will make it easier to work with the technology on the go. Being mobile even in this field has become one of the top priorities for customers.

The 11th version of the STARLIMS software will create forms that can be accessed by customers that will be able to run on alternative browsers. Now the STARLIMS data will be able to be accessed using Firefox, Chrome and other browsers.

STARLIMS Version 11 brings a number of other features along with expanded compatibility. The newest version of the software offers out-of-the-box dashboards that will allow laboratories to view analytical data that much quicker than if they had to build everything from scratch. These dashboards will be viewable on the old reliable Internet Explorer browsers but the HTML5 functionality gives users more choices when looking at the data on other devices.
