FlipBook Creator for HTML5 has launched the latest version of its e-book software, v1.2.0. Flippagemaker.com, a China- based digital software publishing company, introduced the update on July 19th.
The e-books created with the new software have the ability to run on all Web browsers, including those that run on HTML5 and mobile platforms like the iPad.
FlipBook Creator still allows users to convert PDF files to a flipbook as well as creating new flipping e- books. The newest version piggybacks on the positives of the older model while providing consumers a more user- friendly experience and containing new innovative features.
Top three features:
User-Friendly Start Page
This feature allows consumers to open a project, create a new one, open the demo flipbook and receive support easier than before.
10 New Flipbook Templates
The update now provides users more freedom to customize the look and feel of his/her flipbook with updated graphical choices, backgrounds and functions in order to customize an e-book. FlipBook Creator has also provided the option to adjust the settings for icon color, form color for the search/content window and can choose the thumbnail color for the background of the thumbnail panel.
Two New Output Options
People now have the option upload e-book through their own account from the software interface by outputting to an FTP server by integrating their FTP account with the software. Users also have the ability to enter an e-mail address that they wish to send their flipbook to.
The new update also includes features such as API, real-time preview and support for online and offline flipbook reading.
For developers who are interested in HTML5, an event is happening right now in New York City that is right up their alley. DevCon5 Developers & Designers Conference brings together thought leaders in the industry to discuss the past, present and future of HTML5.
