DevCon5 Sessions Highlight Key Developments Driving Very Bright Future for HTML5 Developers

NORWALK, Conn. – September 11, 2013 – TMC (NewsAlert) (NewsAlert) and Crossfire Media today announced the robust conference agenda for DevCon5, the premiere hands-on conference for HTML5 and Mobile App Developers, featuring sessions that dive deep into the business models and mobile applications based on HTML5 technology. DevCon5 will take place December 10-11, 2013, at the Hilton Los Angeles in Universal City, California.

“The HTML5 opportunity is enormous, and we have seen growing momentum over the past few events,” said Rich Tehrani (NewsAlert) (NewsAlert), CEO of TMC. “At the Los Angeles event, it will be clear: the time for HTML5 is now. Sessions will reflect this change in thinking, moving from HTML5 limitations to the extreme opportunity this revolutionary technology presents.”

The DevCon5 conference program will focus on topics that are important to everyone who wishes to learn about and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, essential issues and trends involving HTML5. The specific conference sessions within the content-rich agenda include:

  • Developing High Performance Websites and Modern Apps with JavaScript and HTML5
  • Graphics Update The Good the Bad and the Ugly
  • Hybrid Economics 101
  • Customer Enrollment using Mobile Web and Mobile Imaging
  • Node JS
  • The Video Player
  • CSS3 Animations
  • Enterprise Apps, from Idea to Market
  • Video Calling: WebRTC
  • Personalization 2.0
  • Using Responsive and Adaptive Techniques
  • And more

“DevCon5 reflects the level of importance mobile development has to have in every organization regardless of their audience demographics,” said Carl Ford (NewsAlert), CEO of Crossfire Media and Executive Director of DevCon5 Content and Community. “We used to say no one knows you’re a dog on the Internet, these days everyone sees who you are, what you do and judges based on how well you display it to them. Your website and your mobile apps may not be exactly the same but all your development whether native or Web will have a suite of HTML5 components be it HTML5, CSS3, and/or .JS solutions.”
