HTML5 aficionados seeking to create HTML5-based eBooks without coding can now utilize a new product available in the market called Flip PDF from FlipBuilder, a Hong Kong-based company offering software tools and applications to convert documents into flipbooks.
The Flip PDF is software application that can batch convert multiple PDF files into animated booklets that feature page flipping animations and sounds.
Eliminating the need for HTML5 coding, the new Flip PDF software tool helps users to create eBooks that can be: published on the web; sent via e-mail; or distributed/shared on mobile, Mac or CD-ROM.
Cashing in on the trend set by HTML5 in the flip publication market, FlipBuilder developed and rolled-out the new software that could create e-books, which can be easily managed and accessed by users for viewing online in any browser and on their mobile devices, cited one of the spokesperson in a press release.
Apart from enabling users to convert PDF files to Adobe (News – Alert) Flash based page-flipping eBooks, Flip PDF also offers other key features such as a Project Panel that can open or save project easily, import bookmarks with PDF, import hyperlinks, including Web links, page links and e-mail links, search feature, add watermarks and define the quality and version of the e-book.
A representative from FlipBuilder, said in a statement, “We are very excited to introduce our new product to help users create excellent html5 flash page flip book with Flip PDF.”
Interested users can download 3.9.9 version of the software from the company’s website for $99 and start creating the desired e-book with the PDF files.
Flip PDF users can set themes, pre designed templates, animated scenes and backgrounds available with the software, to decorate the book, add plug-ins, such as image slider, YouTube (News – Alert) video banner and news rotator and output locally or publish them/share online using FlipBuilder’s Upload Service.
As the e-books created via Flip PDF are HTML5-based, they can be viewed online embedded into a website, however with title, keywords and other metadata defined.
In addition, the Flip PDF enables users to create e-books in various languages, add Google (News
– Alert) analytics, password protect it and more.
The e-books can be saved in .exe, .zip, .app, .fbr file formats to view on Windows device, attached e-mails, on iOS devices and Flip Reader respectively. The e-books can be saved in mobile versions too to view them via mobile browsers.
