To get the most value from big data, Dundas Data Visualization, a provider of custom dashboard software and services, revealed the latest features of Dundas Dashboard Version 5.0, which include advanced usage tracking, an interactive HTML5 mobile interface and wide support for MapReduce technologies.
Mariana Stoica-Constantin, VP of Research and Development at Dundas, said in a statement, "Customer feedback and new technologies drive many of our innovations. Version 5.0 and Big Data support is just the latest example. We are committed to providing tools and services that help organizations make better decisions from their data, whether that data comes from an OLAP cube, relational database, or Hadoop cluster.”
Dundas Dashboard Version 5.0 includes big data connectivity and support for Amazon Redshift, Apache Hive, Microsoft (News
– Alert) PDW and more. It includes report scheduling, where a report can be scheduled with export format and mailing list, and Dundas Dashboard will e-mail users with important updates.
Version 5.0 also includes advanced HTML5-based scorecards for mobile devices with small multiples control custom views for printing and exporting. It also allows users to create dashboards and reports for better printing and export results (including print-to-PDF and PowerPoint). It allows users to quickly access data and avoid the need for drill-downs and pop-ups by changing metrics on visualizations with a single click. Interactive tiles can also be added on mobile home screens to give users the data they need at a glance.
