DevCon5 Announces Introductory Track for HTML5 Conference

Conference sessions explore impact HTML5 will have on the Web industry

Norwalk, CT – October 7, 2013 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced its Basic HTML5 session track for DevCon5 HTML5 Developers & Design Conference, held December 10-11, 2013, at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City, California. For two days, attendees will learn the latest tools and information to succeed in the world of HTML5 technology. Through hands-on discussions and exciting demonstrations, sessions will encourage attendees to immerse themselves in the latest industry topics.

  • Future of HTML5– Attendees will look to the future to determine what needs to be improved, what’s left to do and how to make the mobile Web and desktop web seamless.
  • WebSockets & WebRTC– Take a look at how WebRTC is delivering real-time media experience that takes advantage of websockets.
  • Security– Identity Management­- This session explores Persona and how developers and users can work to ensure security throughout the website, including embedding in their native code.
  • Security Risks on The Web– Attendees will look at known risks regarding HTML5 and explore possible threats on the horizon.
  • Reigning in JavaScript– Take a look at whether JavaScript has lost its charm and see if there are other solutions that may be better suited.
