Microgaming, one of the leaders in online gambling, has brought Glossy Bingo to mobile, HTML-enhanced life. Glossy Bingo, the flashy online spin on the traditional game, is owned by Broadway Gaming and was launched on Microgaming's Bingo platform in April.
Despite the enduring association Bingo has with old people in nursing homes (not exactly the age group ardently embracing mobile), the game is actually well-played by the younger generations more keen on mobile, and users can make some serious mullah. Broadway Gaming released a previous version of the game, Butlers Bingo, in 2012, which has seen giant growth on mobile platforms and big pay-off. Earlier this month, Butlers Bingo player won an 11,500 bingo jackpot on a game accessed through a mobile device.
Executives at Broadway Gaming hope to see the same success for Glossy Bingo in its new HTML 5 availability.
“Following a hugely successful launch of mobile Bingo on our Butlers Bingo brand, Glossy Bingo has followed suit and is now live with mobile, enabling players to play their favorite Bingo and side games on the move,” says Ian O’Farrell, Head of Promotions at Broadway Gaming.
David Reynolds, Head of Bingo at Microgaming notes how well-suited Glossy Bingo is to HTML5, commenting, “Bingo and mobile have a natural fit and Microgaming’s HTML5 Bingo product has been designed to best serve those operators hoping to capitalize on the expanding mobile gaming market. O'Farrell suggests interested players should get on board now. “We’re launching a flurry of exciting promotions including a 400 percent first deposit bonus and a very special Christmas promotion” he says, adding: “It’s certainly an exciting time for Glossy Bingo players.”
