Bringing Content to Life with Tumult Hype

The emergence of many devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops have changed the way users interact with technology. From the users' perspective, these gadgets are cool and convenient. However, there is another group for whom these gadgets are a nightmare and they are web designers. These designers have to create pages that render the same way across all the devices and this presents a huge challenge, especially when the web pages contain many objects such as videos and animations.

This field of web development, known as Responsive Web Design, has seen huge developments during the last few years. Many companies are coming up with products that make it easy for designers to create pages that are scalable for all screen sizes and resolutions. One such company is Tumult and the latest product in its line is Hype 2.5. This product supports HTML5 which means web designers can now create more interactive pages with relative ease.

Other than its support for HTML5, Hype has a lot of interesting features. It helps with localization as Hype 2.5 supports six other languages namely, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Italian which means developers across different countries will feel at ease to use it. Another feature is the scene transition duration control where users can have better control over the scene transitions and their durations. This means users can make their scene transitions faster or slower based on their ideas. A related feature is the reverse timeline playback that akes loops easier and gives users the choice to move their timelines backwards as well.

Along with Hype 2.5, Tumult has also released another product called Hype Reflect 1.1 that helps designers to preview their animations on iOS-based products such as iPad and iPhone (NewsAlert).

With these new features, Hype 2.5 is expected to bring more content to life in websites for all devices.
