Excitor (NewsAlert), vendor of secure mobile container solutions, and SOTI, a provider of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy management, recently joined hands. According to the terms of the agreement, Excitor’s Secure Container for mobile devices, Excitor DME, will now be provided with SOTI’s enterprise mobility management solution, SOTI MobiControl. Moreover, it can also manage access to the corporate sandbox on personal devices.

On the other hand, DME (Dynamic Mobile Exchange) is a single app to enable secure mobile access to all the Enterprise IT systems the employees need to do their job. The clients can use DME Email, Calendar & Contacts client for Business Data and can also search Global Address Book for employee details. It also boasts of many other features.

“Our focus for some time has been the delivery of a flexible, secure platform for the management of email, files, applications and intranet access,” said Rene Stockner, CEO of Excitor. “We will continue to develop DME to ensure that it remains ahead of the game. SOTI is extremely strong in the enterprise mobility management, BYOD and mobile application management environments, and we look forward to a very positive and collaborative relationship.”

“SOTI MobiControl delivers an unparalleled enterprise mobility and BYOD management tool with advanced functionality for application management to protect corporate data on mobile devices,” said Carl Rodriguez, CEO of SOTI. “Our partnership with Excitor provides global organisations with a comprehensive mobility management solution that solves IT challenges of managing BYOD where corporate and personal applications and data commingle on mobile devices. With Excitor, we can jointly make strides towards our shared goals of providing a complete solution for devices used in dual persona scenarios for both corporate and personal use.”
