TreSensa Partners with Fortumo

In the last few years, Apps have become a steady source of revenue for developers and companies. As an increased number of customers find in-app purchasing convenient and time saving, companies are waking up to the various possibilities of a relatively untapped market.

Recently, the game development and distribution platform TreSensa joined hands with mobile payments company Fortumo to strengthen in-app purchasing process. It now enables HTML5 developers publishing apps through TreSensa to earn additional revenue with mobile payments.

In the initial stages of this plan, TreSensa has introduced mobile payments for its gaming portal. It is also much easier on developers as they do not need to do any additional integration for in-app purchasing. TreSensa makes mobile payments available across the entire platform and this makes the entire process much easier.

With Fortumo, any merchant can set up payment processing for web and mobile services, games or apps. It allows users with a mobile phone to make one click payments without the need for a credit card—payments are charged to their mobile bills.

In-app payment allows users to sell digital content from inside the applications. This can be used to sell various types of content, including downloadable content such as media files or photos, virtual content such as game levels or potions, premium services and features.

“In-app purchasing has become the industry standard business model for mobile games. In partnership with Fortumo, we are now making this seamless payment solution available to HTML5 developers as well. Mobile web games have tremendous growth opportunities ahead and developers can now easily take advantage of this,” said Robert Grossberg, CEO of Tresensa.

Recently, TreSensa closed a round of funding and collected more than $2 million. The funding comes with the company’s exploitations in the field of HTML5.
