Genesis Gaming Releases New Title on Flash and HTML5 Casino Software Platforms

The gaming industry is undergoing a global slump affecting established locations such as Las Vegas and Atlantic City, new markets in Macau and many of the casinos operating in the many states across the U.S. According to many experts, the market is oversaturated and as more states legalize gambling, casinos will undoubtedly see profit margins shrink even more. When you add online gambling, the prospects looks even worse for the gaming industry, but creators of digital gaming platforms are faring much better. Genesis Gaming, supplier of slot content to the most prominent manufacturers and operators in the casino gaming industry, has launched a new video slot called Robyn across four leading Flash and HTML5-powered casino platforms.

The four software platforms are Odobo, Leander, Openbet and Microgaming Quickfire. This will make Robyn compatible with the vast majority of the platforms available in the market place, giving it access to thousands of online casino players immediately.

Genesis Gaming has produced more than 150 video slot games for all digital platforms so they can be played for real money or social gaming using mobile devices and personal computers. By delivering the new game with Flash and HTML5, compatibility issues will be a thing of the past.

The company uses its Conception XD framework to make its games simultaneously available on both platforms at launch. According to Neill Whyte, Head of Product Channels at Microgaming, Robyn is our first development partner game to launch simultaneously in Flash and HTML5 on the Quickfire platform.

Quickfire is powered by Microgaming and offers gaming clients fast and seamless integration into any existing system and covers all platforms including casino, poker, bingo, live dealer and mobile.

“We recognize mobile is a hugely significant growth area for our partners and that dual release is necessary to ensure greater marketing and operations efficiency”, said Geoff Hansen, Managing Director of Genesis. “This is a momentous occasion for us and we and we are pleased to have a strong partner in Quickfire, powered by Microgaming that can enable simultaneous delivery of our titles across such a wide network.”

As smart mobile and broadband technology continue to reach 100 percent adoption rates in many regions around the world, more industries are establishing a mobile presence, and gaming is no exception. With HTML5, the games created by companies such as Gensis will be able to function on mobile devices as efficiently as PCs, giving casinos access to consumers 24/7 without having to drive or fly to a particular destination.
