Temasys Joins HTML5 Communications Summit as Platinum Sponsor

Temasys to participate in November at San Jose event

Norwalk, CT – October 22, 2014 – TMC and Crossfire Media today announced that Temasys Communications, a global startup building the next generation of Web-based Real-Time Communications (WebRTC), has signed on to become a Platinum Sponsor of HTML5 Communications Summit, held November 18-19, 2014, at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California. The premiere hands-on conference will explore the latest strategies, essential issues and trends in revolutionary Web design and development technology.

“HTML5 offers a proven way to extend rich media services to every user. By being a sponsor of the HTML5 Communications Summit, we look forward to enabling even more enterprises and developers to innovate, advancing the Web as a platform for everyone,” said Chip Wilcox, Temasys CEO.

Temasys is a part of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards committee and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) working group that are defining WebRTC, an emerging standard of Web communications built on JavaScript APIs and HTML5. At the HTML5 Communications Summit, Temasys will provide in-depth examples of how they are playing a leading role toward driving adoption of WebRTC by bringing rich, high-quality real-time communications to more users, overcoming limitations of proprietary platforms and legacy technologies.

“We are thrilled to welcome Temasys to HTML5 Communications Summit. The company is helping to lead crucial efforts in WebRTC standards development and our attendees will gain valuable insight from its expertise in enterprise-ready, scalable communications tools,” said Carl Ford (NewsAlert), CEO, Crossfire Media, executive director of content, HTML5.

HTML5 Communications Summit is also sponsored by additional Platinum Sponsors AppDynamics and OnSIP; and Silver Sponsors Animatron and RethinkDB.
