YesLaw Online Chooses Accusoft’s Document Viewer

TAMPA, Fla., Aug 07, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) — Accusoft, the leading provider of document, content and imaging solutions, today announces that Santa Clara, California-based YesLaw, a division of YesVideo Inc., has selected Accusoft's Prizm Content Connect as the document viewer for YesLaw Online, a cloud service for advanced publishing and secure delivery of deposition content.

In providing document viewing and collaboration capabilities to YesLaw Online, Prizm Content Connect enables attorneys and other legal professionals to view and collaborate on more than 300 different document and other file types they may have stored in the YesLaw repository, including Microsoft Office files, PDF files, CAD/CAM files, raster and vector image files, and hundreds more. Using the viewer, YesLaw customers can not only view all of these files, but also apply annotations and redactions.

YesLaw has become the industry standard for providing deposition transcripts, video on DVD and transcripts and synchronized video in the cloud. It enables attorneys and other legal professionals to easily review transcripts and video depositions, identify key testimony, and create and export video clips for presentation at trial, mediation and settlement.

According to YesLaw Vice President Brian Clune, the company switched YesLaw Online's viewer component from the previous Java-based viewer to gain the advantages of Prizm Content Connect's zero-footprint design, which requires only a server-side installation and no additional installation on the client. Through Prizm Content Connect, YesLaw Online customers can view, search, annotate and redact documents from any recent HTML5 or Flash-enabled browser, even on mobile devices.

Clune adds that although most deposition documents are in PDF format, YesLaw's customers sometimes need to work with documents in any number of other, unpredictable formats, making Prizm Content Connect's support for more than 300 file types a plus.
