BuyerZone Releases 2013 State of B2B Lead Generation Report

WALTHAM, Mass. –(Business Wire)–

BuyerZone, the leading online B2B lead generation company, released its second annual State of B2B Lead Generation report today. Produced in partnership with LeadsCouncil and emedia, the report highlights trends and takeaways from an in-depth survey of B2B marketers about their lead generation practices, including use of technology, how leads are processed and routed, lead sources and more.

The report builds on findings from 2012 so B2B marketers can not only benchmark themselves versus other similar companies, but can also see how trends and attitudes have changed in the last year.

“This report dives into the complex and evolving world of B2B marketing from a unique lead generation perspective that only BuyerZone can deliver. Having been in the lead generation space for more than a decade, we’ve helped thousands of B2B marketers succeed with online leads. Our goal with this annual study is to reveal how B2B lead generation continues to progress so we can arm B2B marketers with the benchmarking information they need to succeed,” said Jeff Gordon (NewsAlert), Director of Marketing at BuyerZone.

The 2013 report shares many interesting conclusions:

  • Use of CRM technology continues to grow while adoption of Marketing Automation lags
  • Those who use technology have a better perception of lead quality
  • Speed of lead follow-up might not be as important as everyone thinks
  • B2B marketers want more leads – and are willing to pay for them
  • Lead tracking is more and more common (for most)

“We’re again elated to partner with BuyerZone in providing visibility into the trends occurring in the B2B industry. In a marketplace that is continually evolving it’s never more important for industry participants to be aware of the changes and adjust accordingly. This year’s report shows that buyers are still in high demand for quality leads and are becoming even more confident with lead management processes, and that’s really exciting!” said Michael Ferree, Director of the LeadsCouncil.
