Norwalk, CT-February 5, 2014-TMC (NewsAlert) announced today that Aron Ralston, fearless adventurer and subject of the film 127 Hours, will be providing a keynote at CX Hot Trends Symposium, held June 2-4, 2014 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event will take a distinctive look at the trends driving positive customer experiences and will focus on topics such as social customer services, video customer service, proactive customer contact and multi-channel customer communications. Ralston will deliver his keynote titled “127 Hours: Between a Rock and Hard Place” on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 8:50 am where he will share his now famous story.

In 2003, Ralston's astonishing human drama grabbed headlines around the world. Now, his remarkable experience is commanding the spotlight again. As an inspirational speaker, he moves audiences with his unforgettable story of an ordinary man pushed to the limits. At CX Hot Trends Symposium, he’ll explore the human capacity that is only revealed through adversity.

“People know me as the guy who cut off his arm. But what they might not know is my perspective about that experience: that it was one of the greatest things that has ever happened for me,” says Ralston.  “Whatever our boulder, we each make that choice – whether it’s going to be a tragedy or a triumph – and I firmly believe our boulders are our blessings. I’m honored for the opportunity to share my perspectives at the upcoming CX Hot Trends Symposium.”

“Aron Ralston’s extraordinary story is a true testament to his courage and perseverance. His experience and what he was capable of overcoming is an inspiration for all to continually fight harder in any of life’s endeavors, whether it be personal or in business,” said Joe Staples, chief marketing officer for the conference’s primary sponsor Interactive Intelligence (NewsAlert). “We look forward to hearing Aron’s address and I am confident that his story will resonate with our CX Hot Trends Symposium attendees.”
