Vice President and General Manager Small Business Business Unit (SBBU)

As Vice President and General Manager in Cisco’s Small Business Business Unit (SBBU), David Tucker is responsible for addressing the “Connect” elements of Cisco’s small business strategy, which aims to maximize profitable growth in the small business switching, routing, storage and WLAN markets. Tucker’s organization is responsible for delivering a global product portfolio and unique go-to-market strategy that meets the networking needs of the small business customer. As part of this effort, Tucker will manage the innovation and expansion of product solutions, which includes the integration of small business best practices and products with Cisco’s existing products.

In his most recent role, Tucker served as Vice President of the Connected Office Business Organization (COBO) for Linksys. There, he led the teams to develop and market voice and data products targeting the small business marketplace. Previous to COBO, Tucker led product management, marketing and market development efforts for Cisco, spending much of his time focusing on delivering IP Telephony solutions to the worldwide enterprise customer.

Tucker joined Cisco in 1998 as part of the Selsius Systems acquisition. As Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer, he helped to pioneer the consolidation of voice and data networks.

Prior to Selsius, Tucker served in a variety of leadership roles at different technology companies where he was responsible for notable innovations like the creation of the voice and video PBX platform.

Tucker holds masters of bachelor administration and a bachelors of business administration degrees in Marketing from Texas A&M; University.

Tom Shafron serves as the chief technology officer of Clear2there. In this capacity, he is responsible for the company’s strategic direction for innovation and technology, as well as product development and management. Tom is the creator, and continues to lead the enhancement of the Clear2there’s Viewbiquity platform, which forms the operational foundation for the company’s highly successful smart-premise solution offering. Before joining Clear2there, Tom was a founder of USAG, a video security and surveillance provider located in the Florida. As a result of his stewardship, USAG evolved into a multi-million dollar provider of advanced video technology solutions for enterprise customers around the world. Before working with USAG, he and his brother David founded Log-Me-On.com, a toolbar overlay service that they subsequently sold to Yahoo!. While with Yahoo!, Tom started and led the Yahoo! Toolbar development group, growing it to 40 million active connected users. The Yahoo! Toolbar grew to drive traffic representing more than $100 million in annual revenue.

Robert B. (Rob) Carter is executive vice president of FedEx Information Services and chief information officer of FedEx Corporation. He is a member of the five-person Executive Committee, which plans and executes the corporation’s strategic business activities. Carter is responsible for setting technology direction, as well as the corporation’s key applications and technology infrastructure. FedEx applications, advanced networks and data centers provide around-the-clock and around-the-globe support for the product offerings of FedEx.

Carter joined FedEx in 1993 and has over 30 years of systems development and implementation experience.

Carter was born in Taiwan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from the University of Florida and his master’s degree from the University of South Florida.

Recently named as part of Fortune Magazine’s Executive Dream Team, Carter is also ranked 18th on Fast Company Magazine’s 100 Most Creative People in Business 2010 list. He received Information Weeks Chief of the Year Award in 2000, 2001 and 2005 and is a seven-time recipient of CIO Magazine’s 100 Award.

Carter is a member of the Saks Inc. (NYSE: SKS) and First Horizon Corporation (NYSE: FHN) Boards of Directors, and the University of Florida Foundation Board of Trustees.

His first book, HTML5 Hacks: An exploration into the most exciting technologies for the modern web, is in pre sales through OReilly Media. He previously held Sr. Software and Technical Management positions at USAA, where he was responsible for providing technical leadership in the planning, designing, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of USAAs industry leading iPhone, Android, Blackberry, and mobile web applications for USAAs 8 million members worldwide. Prior to that, Jesse was a JavaScript Lead for numerous enterprise rich internet application projects that included investor dashboards and enterprise portals, and has done web work for Disney, The Kentucky Derby, Jackson Browne, CSNY, and actress Angie Ruiz.

Mark joined co-founders Ann Winblad and John Hummer as Hummer Winblad Venture Partners began investing our first fund in 1990. Prior to Hummer Winblad Venture Partners Mark was at Sun Microsystems where he managed emerging new media areas and was a member of the original SparcStation team. Over the last 20 years Mark has served as a board member for numerous successful Hummer Winblad start-ups, including Omniture (IPO and acquired by Adobe), AdForce (IPO and acquired by CMGI), NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems) and Scopus Technologies (IPO and acquired by Siebel) and Crowdfactory (acquired by Marketo). Currently, he serves as a Director of 6connect, Aria Systems, Cenzic, Domo, ontheFRONTIER, Signal Demand, OptiMine, and InsideSales. In 2011, Mark was appointed by President Barack Obama to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a 21-person advisory group of the nation’s leading scientists and engineers (www.whitehouse.gov/ostp/pcast). He leads the design and development of strategically integrated mobile experiences; directs product creation, innovation, and ideation; and helps companies maximize mobile opportunities. Omega Mobiles initiatives consist of mobile apps, mobile sites, landing pages, and rich media mobile ads. Additionally, Omega Mobile provides innovative solutions for mobile user interfaces, experience design, prototype design, and mobile systems. Naders passion for driving rich experiences influences the solutions he creates for mobile and other devices – from phones and consumer electronics to toys and in-car entertainment systems.

Nader first delved into interactive rich media experiences when CD-Roms were the de-facto rich experience. He started developing web experiences in 1994 and creating mobile experiences in 1999. His work in the fields of entertainment, advertising, technology, publishing, and marketing includes mobile projects for Adobe, AT&T;, Fox, Nokia, Qualcomm, and Sony. As a renowned pioneer, lecturer, teacher and all-around mobile multimedia expert, he considers communicating through design and technology more than just his job. Naders life experiences – including degrees in psychology, communications and computer graphics – have influenced the pursuit of his passion for creating interactive media through Omega Mobile. Omega Mobiles current areas of focus include deep mobile branding, QR retail & brand strategies, mobile advertising, and integrated mobile marketing experiences.

Chris Hummel joined Siemens Enterprise Communications (SEN) in April 2010 and currently serves as the President of North America and the global Chief Marketing Officer. He reports directly to Hamid Akhavan, the CEO of SEN.

In his North America role, he is responsible for sales, service and delivery to our extensive customer base in the North American region. He also leads SEN’s global accounts effort across all regions of the globe and drives the successful partnerships of our global alliances and global indirect divisions. As CMO, he oversees all global marketing activities across the company and supports the development of corporate and go-to-market strategies.

Hummel is a recognized thought leader and has extensive experience in global enterprise sales and marketing, having lived and worked in a range of countries, including the US, Germany, Eastern Europe and Asia. Before joining Siemens Enterprise Communications, he served as Executive Vice President of Global Field Marketing for SAP AG, where he managed an organization of more than 600 people that annually generated more than 7 billion US-Dollars in qualified opportunities. Prior to SAP, Hummel spent 13 years at Oracle Corporation in a number of senior sales, services and marketing roles.

Hummel holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Tufts University and a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Medford, MA. He also studied at Durham University (UK) and the London Business School.

Raymond (Ray) Dolan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sonus Networks. Previously, Ray served as Chief Executive Officer of QUALCOMM/Flarion Technologies, a developer of mobile broadband communications technologies, as well as Senior Vice President of QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM). Prior to its acquisition by QUALCOMM in 2006, Ray served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Flarion. From 1996 to 2000, he was Chief Operating Officer of NextWave Telecom. Prior to that, he spent eight years at BellAtlantic/NYNEX Mobile, serving in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as Executive Vice President of Marketing. He served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he spent more than seven years as a tactical jet pilot. Ancell joins XO Communications after a career encompassing nearly 30 years of operational and sales leadership in the communications and technology services industries. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales and sales engineering for CoreSite Realty Corporation. Prior to CoreSite, Ancell spent 12 years in a variety of leadership roles at both CenturyLink and Qwest, including president of CenturyLinks business markets organization and executive vice president of Qwests business markets organization.

Ancell has also held management positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and with Oracles Telecommunications Consulting Practice. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Denver.
